Territories in Kolkata
Old money south, new towers east.
Kolkata gives a studio two very different zones. South — Ballygunge, Alipore, Jodhpur Park — is settled households with serious wardrobes and high expectations. East — Salt Lake, New Town, Rajarhat — is new towers full of working families on the household rhythm. The saree culture runs through both, and the humidity makes clean-and-dry laundry a year-round need rather than a seasonal one. Training is at a working store in Gurugram; plan a week’s travel.

The terms
One format. Owner-operated. Your territory only.
A premium studio in 200–300 square feet, run full time by you or part time with a hired manager. Two to three trained staff. No perishable stock, no aggregator commissions, no kitchen.
Beyond the ₹12.97 L + GST paid to AnyDry, budget for civil and interior work at actuals plus roughly three months of working capital.

Is there still a territory available in Kolkata?
Territories are allocated one partner per zone, and availability changes as zones are signed. Tell us the area you have in mind and we confirm it on the call.
Can the format handle Bengal silks and heavy sarees?
Yes — stains are treated by hand at a spotting station before any machine, the dry cleaning is perc-free and gentle on silk and zari, and finishing is done on steam formers rather than a flat iron. A saree is the garment a Kolkata customer judges a cleaner on, which is exactly why the process is written down.
How much cash should I actually plan for?
₹12.97 lakh plus GST is paid to AnyDry and covers everything in the setup list. On top of that, budget for civil, electrical and plumbing work at actuals — which varies by site — and roughly three months of working capital until the store turns cash-positive. There is no security deposit.
Do I need laundry experience?
No. Our existing partners came in with no garment-care background — the model, the training and the support are built for first-time owners. What the format needs from you is presence: it is owner-operated, not a passive investment.
When does royalty start?
Eight per cent of revenue plus GST, and only once the store has broken even — not from day one. We would rather the store stand up first.
